If I take a check
by phone is the money transferred instantly?
-No. Your
transaction information is sent to our processor where the
information is checked for possible errors and then sent to the
Federal Reserve where the funds are transferred.
Can we be sure the
money is there before we take a check by phone pr generate an
ACH transaction?
-No. Present
technologies do not allow for this. Our NSF (non-sufficient
funds) collection efforts are very successful. We are able to
tie into the ATM network and verify positive account status
before the final collection attempt is made.
